Privacy Policy

JungWay Acupuncture & Integrative Wellness ("JungWay," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the jungway.com website only. It does not cover the protected health information you share with Nina Jung, L.Ac. during a clinical appointment, or the booking and intake records held on our scheduling platform. Those records are covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, send us an email, or use the contact links, we receive whatever you choose to share. Typically that is your name, email address, and the contents of your message. Please do not include sensitive health details in a website contact form. Those details belong in a scheduled appointment, where they are properly protected.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors find and use the site. This includes:
- Google Analytics 4. Page views, traffic sources, approximate geographic region, device type, and the path you take through the site. We have configured Google Analytics with IP address anonymization enabled.
- Standard server logs through our hosting provider (Netlify). IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
We use this information to understand which content is useful, identify problems, and improve the site over time. It is not used to identify you personally.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiries when you contact us.
- To improve the website and the information it provides.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-party services
This website relies on a few third-party services to function:
- Jane App — appointment booking and clinical records. When you book an appointment, you are transferred to Jane App's own platform, which has its own privacy policy and is HIPAA-compliant for protected health information.
- Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics, as described above.
- Google Business Profile — our profile on Google Maps and Search.
- Netlify — website hosting.
- FloDesk — email newsletter delivery, if you choose to subscribe.
- Substack — Nina's writing publication, which you may visit via links from this site.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Following the relevant links will take you to their respective terms.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for analytics (via Google Analytics 4) and to maintain basic functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may be affected.
California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") gives you certain rights regarding your personal information:
- The right to know what personal information we collect about you.
- The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (including records we are required by law to retain).

Health information
Information you share during a clinical appointment is governed by California's licensed-practitioner confidentiality requirements, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA, Civil Code §56), and by HIPAA where applicable. That information is held by Nina Jung, L.Ac., in Jane App and in clinical records, not on this marketing website. Our handling of clinical information is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves or as the law changes. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
